Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when you are carrying experiences of change, loss, stress, or questions about identity and belonging. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
I support individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, grief and loss, major life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of navigating culture, identity, and belonging. I have a particular interest in supporting immigrants, newcomers, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds as they navigate adjustment, connection, and finding their place in a new environment.
Before entering psychotherapy, I worked as a Chartered Professional Accountant, educator, and mentor, and collaborated with NGOs on community and wellness initiatives. These experiences continue to inform my work, allowing me to hold both structure and compassion, curiosity and care. As an immigrant, my own experiences with culture, identity, and belonging have shaped my appreciation for creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, valued, and understood.
I believe the body carries stories that the mind cannot always articulate, and that healing often begins with presence, curiosity, and compassion. By slowing down and creating space to understand your experiences, we can begin to explore patterns, emotions, and needs that may have been difficult to recognize or express. I do not believe we are broken; I believe we are shaped by our experiences. With safety, connection, and time, we can move toward greater self understanding, resilience, and a deeper connection with ourselves.
I also offer therapy in Urdu.
