Talk It Out Wednesdays
Accessible, compassionate therapy at a pay-what-you-can rate.
In Ontario, affordability remains a major barrier to mental health care- especially amid rising costs, global uncertainty, and lingering effects from the pandemic. We’ve launched the Talk It Out Wednesdays program in an effort to support our local community by providing pay-what-you-can psychotherapy sessions. Talk It Out Wednesdays is designed for individuals who do not have insurance coverage for therapy, experience financial insecurity, and are seeking emotional support, healing, and growth. Because everyone deserves support, no matter what’s in their wallet.
Sessions are offered by Practicum Therapists- trained and supervised graduate-level students in Counselling Psychology who are licensed with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario or experienced practitioners relocating to Canada and are completing a practicum as a part of obtaining their licenses in Ontario. This service is available to residents of Ontario ages 13+.
What to expect:
50-minute therapy sessions available on Wednesdays by phone or secure video call.
A judgment-free, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Sessions are not for crisis or emergency support. If you're in crisis, please contact a local helpline or emergency services.
